Hello.  Back from Keat Hwa Band Camp 2012 " Memories of Friendship".  Its a great camp but very tired. Two days camp with Keat Hwa Marching Band (KHMB), Sultanah Asma School Band (SASBAND), Chung Ling Butterworth Wind Orchestra (CLBWO), Swadaya Band and Perlis Secondary School Marching Band (PSSMB) at Keat Hwa Secondary School, Alor Setar, Kedah.  # click on their school name for their official page.  We depart from school at 5.45 early in the morning and reach Keat Hwa Secondary School at about 7.10.  Then start practice with them, alomost 400 peoples are there.  First of all -- warming up. Spent almost one and a half hour warming up on the field. The most suffer parts are jog 3  minutes pumping 10 and 90 degree hands lock.   Second things to do -- Basic marching scales. Practice for forward, backward, side march and jazz run.  Third -- Basic style. It is a small formation practice. After that we go for sectional practice. Learn so many things from them.  After having lunch continue sectional practice and ready for combine band song -- Marching Dream and That what friends are for.  400 peoples gather at Keat Hwa Pavilion performing these two songs. So grand.   and we sing thats what friends are for its a old pop song with nice lyrics. hahahax.  On the first day we go back earlier. We rush back Butterworth after having dinner there. So didn't join their first night event.  But the second night we join their party. All of them prepare shows to perform on yesterday night. Its a great party and we come back to Butterworth when 10.30 and reach school at 12.   Its a great night but so tired.  So lets photo talk now.  The photos are from Keat Hwa Marching Band's album --  Memories of Friendship I just reedit it and post it here but some are from my camera.
