Have been wanting to roll on a high tea date with my bestie and FINALLY we decided to do it on her birthday. So, High Tea at 1885 E&O. We didn't make any reservation and just kick in as its an  impromptu plan of us.

1885 offers classical yet contemporary cuisine in an elegant environment in the finest traditions of colonial style dining. Traditional Afternoon Tea is served in an elegant setting. Candlelit tables, starched linens, silver service, and attentive staff. 1885 open from 2pm until 10.30pm daily, offering English Afternoon Tea and Dinner. English Afternoon tea served from 2pm to 5pm daily on weekday.

So, we've been seated by the window! So called window seat. 

There was a wide choices of tea to choose. Earl Grey Tea for me and Mint Tea for her.

The silver two-tier tray with savoury treats, offering finger sandwiches and pastries. Including smoked beef brisket sandwiches, rolls with smoked salmon, croissants with tuna, chicken vol-au-vents, with moist brand and flaky pastry.

Scones were mix of plain and fruit served with whipping creams and strawberry jam.

The sweet treats plate with blue macaroons, strawberry peanuts puddings, fruits tart, brownies and cakes.

Because I found the sprout beans was interesting. HAHAHA
