Family in UK || Edinburgh
Two day one night in Edinburgh with my family. This is my second times visiting Edinburgh. Edinburgh is a very beautiful city with historical and cultural tourist attractions.
Edinburgh's Old Town and New Town are together listed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Why only 2 days 1 night. Edinburgh was a last minute plan which were not in our itinerary initially. I decided to bring my parents here after my visitation with my friends at December. Due to train ticket to London had already booked so we could just arrange a 2 days 1 night trip at Edinburgh. Although its a pack schedule plan but it definitely worth it and they love Edinburgh a lot.
First day in Edinburgh! We took trains from Newcastle and arrived at Edinburgh around 12pm. Today's plan was to do some sight seeing and shopping at the New Town of Edinburgh. After check in to our hotels we went out to grab lunch and start day Day 1 itinerary.

Tea Time at Eteaket
We came for their Famous Afternoon Tea but unfortunately we are too late and the kitchen had already close so we just ordered the cream tea which comes with scones. ( 4.95pounds)
After some shopping for dinner at Mark and Spencer we went back to our apartment to have dinner and get rest for tomorrow itinerary.

Our Stay in Edinburgh
Service apartment at Edinburgh. We rented a two storey house by The Cairn Hotel at Windsor Street (about 10mins walks from the city centre). The house was awesome with the very old english style structure.There are more than enough space for 9 of us in the house. There are 4 big bedrooms with 9 beds, 4 bathrooms and a huge kitchen.

The room is just enough for me, my sister and my parents.

Left was the Big Breakfast and Vegetarian Big Breakfast at the right.

Those Scottish sausage and black pudding.
Here we goooo. The Edinburgh Castle. The ticket price for the entry was 16.50pounds for adults. I would say it was worthy to experience the history of Scotland in the Castle. We missed the One o'clock gun shot on that day. The gun fire at 1pm everyday except Sunday.

After Edinburgh, we continue our journey to London, which I will be writing about in my next post.
The End.
