Hotel Chocolat.

Its Easter Holidays! While spending a day in Newcastle, I decided to stop by Hotel Chocolat to pick up some chocolate and have a try. Hotel Chocolat is a British chocolatier and cocoa grower. It is the only chocolate company in the United Kingdom who grow cocoa on its own plantation. 


When we step into the shop, we get offered free tasting of a new flavour chocolate for Easter which is caramel city bunny chocolate. It was so nice with the rich flavour of watery caramel in it. There are different flavour of chocolate available in store and I'm sure there will be something which match your tastebuds. Finally, we decided to go for the flavours which are the award winner of Academy of Chocolate and here we go with the silver winner - Carrot Cake, bronze winner - Rum Truffle and another bronze winner - Mousse au Chocolat.

The Silver Winner - Carrot Cake
A national treasure, reinvented with real carrots and walnuts. Selected by the childish Mo. Since its the carrot cake flavour, it taste a little bit special with the carrot and walnuts flavour but it matches perfectly with the chocolate and in the end it still taste like a chocolate. 


The Bronze Winner - Mouse au Chocolat
Honestly, this is my favourite! With the perfect balance of cocoa and cream , and a classic dusting of cocoa powder, this is definitely what I expected.


The Bronze Winner - Rum Truffle with dark chocolate.
Into a dark truffle base, a generous shot of Saint Lucian golden rum, then seal in 70% dark. If you are a fan of rum truffle, this is what for you.
